The 11th annual Little Roy and Lizzy Bluegrass Festival took place the first weekend of May in Lincolnton, GA, celebrating its deep roots in bluegrass gospel music. Held at the Lewis Family Homestead, the festival welcomed attendees to explore the historic site, including a replica of the Lewis Family’s old touring bus. The event featured a lineup of energetic performances under a large circus-style tent, with acts like Echo Valley and the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band delighting the crowd.

Despite beautiful weather on the first two days, strong storms on Saturday caused a temporary shutdown. However, the promoters’ hard work ensured the festival continued smoothly once the sun reappeared. The event concluded on a high note, with host band Little Roy and Lizzy delivering a mix of music, comedy, and pranks. Reflecting on the festival, Danny Stewart praised the collaborative spirit and dedication of everyone involved, promising an even better event next year.
